Parents in Our Office
Because the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children receive their first visit by one year of age, our little patients will almost always need the assistance of a parent or guardian. In many cases, we’ve noticed that parents can feel just as nervous as their children when they come to our office.
In our practice we make it a policy to keep a clear line of communication between doctors and the parents. We welcome parents in the clinical area for most procedures. We want you to know how you can best direct your child to develop great habits, trust, and health. This makes a difference in your child’s life, and we will do our best in letting you understand the nature of all of our treatments here in our office.
When your child will come at the appropriate age, we will start performing early orthodontic evaluations at every visit. In the nature of preventive care, we prefer to stay ahead of the “needs curve.” We will let you know if any underlying problems will require any early orthodontic treatment. We have the ability to let you know when the time is right for your child to consider braces.
We are excited to meet both you and your child and invite you to call us with any questions or concerns about visiting our pediatric practice. Because we are kids at heart, its no wonder we are the leading kid dentist Idaho Falls has to offer!
